Gardens can be magical places, full of life, color, and sensory delight. Hall County Master Gardeners’ Garden Walk “In Our Own Back Yards” – May 16th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm – offers visitors a chance to amble through some of the loveliest gardens in Hall County and experience that magic.
For the $20 cost of a ticket ($15 if purchased before April 15th!) visitors are welcomed into five personal gardens of Hall County Master Gardeners and a public garden maintained by a Master Gardener team. The event features a variety of garden styles, from natural woodland habitats to formally designed flower terraces to multi-season vegetable and herb gardens. Along with the chance to wander these spaces, visitors also receive a plant, a little bit of magic to take home and enjoy.
The Garden Walk’s selected gardens are located at sites across Hall County, so as visitors drive from one garden to another, they can enjoy views of Lake Lanier, stop for food at local Gainesville restaurants, and cruise down historic Green Street.

May is a beautiful time of year in the Georgia Piedmont, and what better way to enjoy it than to spend a day walking through gardens designed and cared for by Hall County Master Gardeners? Come experience a bit of that old magic with us!
