Summer Storytime at Gardens on Green

Summer Storytime, presented at Gardens on Green, has been a great success this year, with 80+ children present on our busiest Wednesday morning. Please bring your children or grandchildren and join us!  

We meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 -11:45 am, June 3rd through July 29th. The activities are designed for preschool to second grade, but older siblings are welcome to attend.

Hall County Media Specialists present our story of the week and then children participate in activities related to the book's theme, including an art activity, gardening activity (assisted by Master Gardeners), and a special snack. 

We have had some special guests this summer, as well, including children’s book authors Allie Millington and Lola Schaefer, beekeeper Zach Free, and Haley and Jennifer from Storybook Market.

Children can visit the Reading Rocket each week to select a book to read and take home.   

Our themes for the remainder of the month are: July 15th - Trees; July 22nd - Sunflowers; and July 29th - Butterflies.     

Lunch will be provided for all children by the Hall County School nutrition department.
