Absolutely no pets allowed. Only Service Animals that meet ADA requirements will be allowed entry.

Free carts available to collect purchases; but they go quickly. Consider bringing your own wagon or cart.

Bring your gardening questions to “Ask A Master Gardener” table staffed daily by Master Gardener volunteers.

Gardening presentations by noted horticultural experts each day at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Please Note Traffic Changes
In the interest of safety and to reduce long wait times, Hall County Master Gardeners is rerouting traffic for this event.
The former entrance/exit has been designated as EXIT ONLY, routing traffic out of the arena onto Calvary Church Road.
The route to the new single-point entrance directs visitors to turn from Calvary Church Road and follow the signs onto New Harvest Road and the arena.
Thanks for your patience as we develop a safer and more convenient traffic flow for attendees to our Fall Garden Expo.

Why is fall the best time to plant? Barbara Jones shares her knowledge about how to successfully establish plants, trees and shrubs as the weather cools. Learn to set a path for success by knowing the secrets of fall planting. A Hall County Master Gardener since 2017, Barbara holds Certificates in Native Plants, Plants and Pollinators, and Sustainable Landscape Design from UGA.
Garden Inspiration from the Wild

Artist Ann Litrel and her co-author Charles Seabrook know about natural wonders. After all, together they recently released “35 Natural Wonders of Georgia to See Before You Die,” published by University of Georgia Press. Inspired by Georgia’s natural beauty, Ann depicts the exquisite diversity of the state’s wildflowers in watercolor. Charles, long-time Atlanta Journal-Constitution science writer, brings the back stories of Georgia’s wonders to life. They share their love of nature and how Georgia’s wonders might inspire and guide gardeners to capture glimpses of these special places in their own landscapes.

Preserving the Best Parts of Nature

Flower artist Michelle Schmidt preserves delicate pressed flowers to create works of art that can be timeless yet functional. Learn how she combines colorful blooms into imaginative works that can adorn candles or be framed to commemorate a precious remembrance. She shares her techniques and offers insight into finding the best blossoms from the garden or by foraging along a wooded trail.
